A term used in the BOMA Standards to describe the absence of Floor space that provides vertical air-space to a Floor below. An Occupant Void is for the Exclusive Use of an Occupant, normally to accommodate an Occupant’s requirements, such as to provide Vertical Circulation or Vertical Services to an Occupant leasing space on multiple Floors, or simply for aesthetic purposes.
