LiDAR

LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is a remote sensing technology that uses laser pulses to create highly accurate and detailed 3D "point clouds" of a buildings, objects, and envioronments. In modern building measurement, LiDAR is the gold standard for capturing complex existing conditions in buildings and facilities. Point clouds can be imported to CAD and BIM systems to create accurate technical drawings, models, and digital twins.
