Unenclosed building feature (rooftop amenity)

Under 2024, is a rooftop amenity still considered building common? I don't see it in the new standard.

Hi Steve,

There are a few places that it is mentioned, but please see Special Conditions "Exterior Areas" on page 52. Yes, Unenclosed Occupant Amenity Areas such as a Finished Rooftop Terrace should be designated to Building Service (assuming all tenants have access to it, but not the general public). It is a Service Area rather than an Amenity Area in order to avoid Floor Service Area being allocated to it.
