Staircase and washroom

Hello,

I would like to ask if there is a 18 floors office building where the 3rd to 7th floors are going to be rented by one tenant. They are going to build a new staircase especially for themselves (there are also 3 egress staircase on each floor) plus the washroom in each floor. I would like to know in this case the new staircase and the new washrooms will be excluded from the usable area?

HI Delara,

The tenant built washrooms and staircases will be included in the Usable and Rentable Area. This construction should have no impact on the BOMA 1996 areas.
