We are creating measurements for a owner occupied building, and there are a number of exterior roof terraces that are furnished for use by staff. Are these considered to be part of Gross SF or can they be included in Usable SF as an amenity space?

Hi Amy,
The BOMA 2018 Gross Areas standard includes Finished Roof Terraces in Gross Area 1 (Leasing Method), Gross Area 2 (International Comparison Method), and Gross Area 4 (Construction Method). Please note that the BOMA 2018 Gross Areas standard doesn't have a usable square footage calculation.
