Are Elevators, with pits(which penetrate the ground floor slab)on the ground floor of a building considered to Major Vertical Penetrations or Building Service Area?

Hi Mary,

Any openings in the floor to accommodate the elevators are MVP. The lowest level where the elevators terminate (where the floor is) are Building Service Area.

Thanks,
David
