Hi there. I am a Senior Technologist/Project Manager for a large Architectural firm here in Calgary. We are looking to track down copies of the BOMA 1996 and 2010 Guidelines for our office. Are we able to Purchase Electronic copies of these? we are currently looking at reviewing office space and also some main level retail areas. If i remember correctly, all of the measuring criteria is captured in these manuals correct? or is there another one we should be looking at for the retail portion?

Hi Jeff,

All of the BOMA Standards can be purchased at www.boma.org. We would recommend using the latest BOMA 2017 Office Standard. The office standards incorporate ground floor retail spaces as well. As long as 50% or more of the building is for office use, it is recommended to use the office standard for the entire building.

Thanks,
David
