Building scenario for electrical closets - 3 story building with lower level parking. Main electrical room is on the lower level (building common). Secondary electrical closet per floor are stacked, same location per floor.
Clarification question is if the first and second floor electrical closets contain equipment that serves the building and are utilized for the tenants electrical/data panels on the floor (some multi tenant and some full floor tenants) are these rooms classified as Floor Common or Building Common? My assumption would be Floor Common since there is tenant equipment located in the room.
Thank you,

Hi Nicole,

I'm having troubles interpreting this. You say that the electrical closets on the first and second floor serve the building and then you say they serve the tenants on the floor.

Most likely a repeating electrical closet on each floor is only serving the floor. We would allocate as Floor Common Area.
