Clarification of Parking Garages in the BOMA table

Building 1 -
We have a parking garage connected to the building by a bridge. Do we include the bridge and the parking garage in the BOMA calculations? The garage is five levels. Do I add those five levels into the table?

Building 2 -
We have two levels of parking below the building. Do I add both of those levels into the table? So I have 3 levels of building, roof, and 2 levels of parking.

Hi Liz,

For Building 1, the parking area should be included along with the bridge (connector), as long as both the connector and parking levels are fully enclosed or partially enclosed as per the definitions provided in the standard. The parking must also be the same municipal address and ownership as the main building.

For Building 2, the parking levels are included.

Thanks,
David
