Method B Extensed Corridors and Tenant Ancillary calculations

I have a 3 story building where the second floor has an entry/exit on one side that is at grade. The main lobby is on the first level. The tenant spaces on floor 2 are not defined yet and the first tenant on this floor is questioning the USF from the landlord who is using Method B. I have identified BBC and Tenant Ancillary (areas of extended circulation and door setbacks. However, I am questioning the section of corridor leading to the exit. Would it be Building Service? Part of BBC? or simply Tenant ancillary extended corridor that gets divided between tenants? Thank you!

Hi Nicole,

If this section of corridor is permanent because it is required for egress, then Building Service Area would be the most appropriate allocation.

Thanks,
David
