Guidelines for choosing appropriate standard

Does BOMA specifically state that the Industrial Standard should be used for flex (office/warehouse) buildings, regardless of the type of occupancy? My understanding has always been that the formal guidelines for the standard are use-based (> 50% warehouse/industrial occupancy).

Thank you for your help.

The BOMA 2012 Industrial Standard recommends that flex space be measured according to the Industrial Standard.
