Are "Areas of Rescue Assistance" on office floors to be considered Floor Service Area or may they be allocated to Occupant Area?
"Areas of Rescue Assistance" is not found in the BOMA 2010 Standard. As a general rule, if the area is under the Occupant's control and was built by or for the occupant's exclusive use, it should be Occupant Area. If the area is a service or Amenity that the landlord provides, it should be common area - most likely Floor Service and Amenity Area.
