Vertical Penetrations with Exterior Walls

The Building Measured Area is measured to the interior of the wall. Vertical Penetration Area includes "enclosing walls". In the event that a Vertical Penetration is enclosed by an exterior wall the vertical penetrations perimeter line will be outside of the Building Measured Area perimeter line. In this case will the vertical penetration not include this exterior wall?

Hi Larry,

A Major Vertical Penetration wall on the perimeter of the building is measured to the inside dominant surface.
